New Data Show Signs Economic Decline May Be Abating
The economy’s steep decline appears to be abating, according to fresh data released today.
Three separate reports — on Americans’ incomes and spending, manufacturing, and the construction sector — all paint a picture of an economy that remains in recession, but offer a consistent picture of economic decline that is more measured than over the fall and winter.
